Back at Muddy Monkies Forest school to erect a post and rail fence fence with added rabbit wire. picket style gates added.
Well… this was an interesting project!
A much needed winter shelter was bespoke designed (by me) and built using strong sleepers as uprights and a corrugated sheet roof added, as this area houses the fire pit for cooking and sing-along/ teaching subjects a opening was created within the build to let smoke out but keep the rain from entering.
Even the local Owl appreciates it….well its almost real looking!

A bespoke pergola was built and installed in this property.
After Landscaping the last garden for some freinds, i was asked to landscape the new garden on the the recent house purchase.
Well ummm, who hid that huge 10ft deep swimming pool under the decking!!
Great project to get stuck into!
Everything was changed, two levels created allowing the best use of the land new fencing, raised borders , indian sandstone paving, artificial grass laid, shed base, storage area, and even the driveway was widened with new tarmac.
Replaced an old chainlink fence with a close board one to give both neighbours privacy in the back garden, small step created in the corner for wildlife viewing.
A new Close board fence and field gate installation for a new start up company called
‘MUDDY MONKIES’ this is a Forest school for the young ones.
A strong framework using concrete posts and a center rail support was installed along with a field gate to keep in with the surroundings.
Garden cleared to start with, new panels and concrete gravel boards installed.
Existing slabs cleaned up (by customer) and re-laid on a new hardcore base , extra slabs laid to for a new patio.
Pine sleepers constructed to produce a retainer for the raised shrub bed.
Screened soil was used to level up the lawn area and seeded .
An old wall was pulled over to provide a sub-base material for the parking area, new timber sleepers were erected as a support, this was topped off with a compacted layer of 40mm scalpings and dressed up with 20mm shingle. A new decorative panel was installed for privacy with a side access gate.
Thinking cap on for this job, the customer wanted to be able to let the small terrier dogs have the run of the garden, but due to steep gradients on the property causing problems with a conventional gate set up a simple but effective bespoke hinged section was made on-site to overcome the dogs being able to escape under the gate while still leaving an operational opening main gate. Side gates and fencing were also erected to other boundary sides of the property.
